If you've been leading 10-20 software projects, these avenues of knowledge should be known to you and the reason you state these "facts" of your is because you choose to lie. It's not that I don't understand your concerns, but it strange to focus on nonexisting problems, when there are real problems with upgrading to OS X. You've managed to nail down a few correctly, like software costs for example, which is a valid concern. But when you start to attribute stuff to 10.2 that just isn't true or at least heavily distorted instead of focusing on real issues, then you're deliberately the Mac Community by spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt. On top of that you make blanket statements about OS X 10.2 that you seemingly hold as universal truths, when in reality are freak occurences. You're extremely misinformed on the realities of OS X 10.2 and seem to attribute all problems you cause yourself and your immedate surroundings to Apple and Mac OS X instead of facing that your negative mindset, prejudices and ignorance doesn't serve you as a Mac user.
