Well, as luck would have it the hard drive on my second generation
300mhz iMac started acting up badly yesterday morning, but I was able to
get it to the regional Mac dealer and get it fixed before it crashed
completely.
While it was there I had some additional upgrades done. I went from
64K RAM to 256 (boy, that stuff is cheap these days!), from a 6 gig hard
drive to a 180 (!) and from OS 8.6 to what was SUPPOSED to be OS 9.2.2.
They installed V9.1 on the drive, then left the installer for the
9.2.2 update on the desktop due to time constraints (I'm having heart
surgery on Monday - no I'm not kidding- and had to get it back home TODAY
to get things done!) but the installer won't put 9.2.2 over the 9.1 now
on it. It will UPGRADE V9.2 to 2.2 but first I have to get 9.2 on the
machine.
Is there an upgrade I can download for 9.1 to 9.2, and if so, where
can I find it so that I can finish moving up to 9.2.2?
Thanks for your help - Charles
