I must have been really tired to write that 9.2 upgrades weren't free UNLESS used on unsupported macs ;-) So yes the updates are free and this answers the question. Yet the full 9.2.x CD is more like the Apple kind of free (around $20 at best). In some occasions it's better to have a full 9.2.2 CD (one-step installation instead of 9.1 + 9.2.1 + 9.2.2). If the mac came with 9.0 this saves one more step.
