This is on going, though. ;-)

Great ideas, all. the FireWire/USB is a good idea, also. Especially a 
FireWire/USB drive and a CDR for either, which can be used in the future. 
I got the sense that she wants to move her data as it is developed, over 
to her G4 regularly, so a CD burner is a good way, whether SCSI, 
FireWire, USB, or whatever. i didn't recommend USB as with a performa, I 
am/was not sure that it will work, or would be fast enough, where SCSI is 
"proven" on those beasts. ;-)

For those who like challenges, a fellow on the Mac Managers list is 
trying to get a 5 1/4 in floppy working, so he can transfer old 
educational software to a Apple II emulator. Talk about a challenge. He 
found a Dayna drive, but no drivers. Any ideas I am sure would be 
welcome, and I can pass them on to him. 
;-)
