Check www.macdrivermuseum.com. I don't see a driver for the Dayna drive
on the site (didn't look very hard either), but there is info on joining
their email list, and I think there is something like 600 people on the
list, so asking for said drivers might not be a bad idea. And of course,
did they check Dayna for drivers? They were bought by Intel, but last I
knew, Intel had a pretty decent collection of old Dayna drivers available
for download.

However, unless the Dayna drive is spec'd for reading Apple II disks, it
may not work anyway. The Apple II drive used GRC(?) formatting, which
IIRC, is not compatible with a standard PC floppy drive. So if the Dayna
drive was designed to let you mount PC 5.25 disks, then chances are
really good that it won't let you mount an Apple II disk.

There are options.

1: Get an Apple IIe Emulator board and drive and a computer that it will
work in (LC PDS slot is needed, and the machine has to support 24 bit
mode). Then mount the disks using the board, and copy to the hard drive.

2: Get a 3.5" drive for the Apple II (or get another Apple II series that
has both, like the IIgs) and copy the disks to 3.5", which the Mac can
then read natively (the Mac will read ProDOS 3.5" disks).

3: Go to ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net and see if they software he is
looking to transfer has already been done. He may just be able to
download disk images of it without having to do the work himself.

4: Go to www.faqs.org and check the Apple2 FAQ archive. (click the "FAQs
A-D" link on the right side, then look for the Apple2 one in the lists).
I'm sure somewhere in that FAQ it will give a number of suggestions on
how to transfer the disks for use in an emulator.

5: Find someone already setup to do this, and ask/pay them to do it (this
is not an offer by me, I'm not currently setup for it)
