which, when installed, shows up as a tiny speck in the upperleft-most part of the top of your screen and when clicked produces a drop-down menu of numerous special characters. By selecting a character, it automatically becomes inserted into the text. � � � � � � � � are but a few examples. PopChar v2.7.2 by G�nther Blaschek. I don't remember how I acquired it, but it was a freebie download.
