Did you disable any of the USB drivers? Here's a thought, turn on all 
extensions, restart classic, then go to the chooser and see if you can 
print. Otherwise, reboot into just OS 9 (if possible, see below), and see 
if you can print. If you can't print when just booted into OS 9, then you 
can't print from Classic.

Partitioning has nothing to do with OS 9 bootable. What model Mac is it?
