I have, my pcb etching support utils use that Andy. and it works well enough that when I do the drill files, drilling only .030" into a .0625 board, turn it over and drill the other side, the drilled holes meet close enough I can't see any location miss-match with a very strong lens. Parts leads fall right thru. Not equipt to do hole plating of course so I have to solder both sides if its a thru via. I don't have a wave pot either, which if everything was suitably diddled in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, might work. In fact, they work better than the machine does, its developed a stiction in the z axis if it hasn't had a coat of vactra worked into it in the last hour. That machine has, over the last 15 years, been thru its version of hell as I have an alu bar I can bolt to the front of the head casting that carries a harbor freight die grinder, which with jigs I made, can route both the tenon on the end of a long stick of wood, or its matching mortise. It's done probably a thousand of each as I've made furniture. I seriously need a Grizzly G0704, (BF20 I think that is) with ball screws etc. :) I have put way too much time & effort in this piece of junk.
