That 400+ line hal file is on the lathe, which with the new install of 
2.8.0-pre, is solid as a block of granite.

The mills config hasn't been touched in nearly a year, since the last 
time I redid the anchors for the ball nuts and was reducing the backlash 
in the .ini file.  Which I need to do again, I see I am over-comped a 
thou or more on the y axis.

It shows as 2.6.8 now, but it seems much much worse than it was for 2.6.5 
for instance.  I don't recall 2.6.5 ever doing a lockup on me.

This is total, spindle pwm ceases, task bar clock is frozen, no mouse or 
response to any keyboard activity.  Hdwe reset is the only thing that 
works.
