QTPYVCP is not actually part of the Linuxcnc project but is a separate project. I don't think it's necessary to include it. When I made the Linuxcnc 2.9 ISOs, I just mapped their repositories via APT but did not install anything. Perhaps you can release it now, then share a script to install QTPYVCP when you get it sorted, then include the script. I'm not sure if there is an equivalent mechanism in Gentoo but in Debian, there is a specific folder that is deployed to all user's home folders which I used for some of this stuff.
