I am a big fan of you postings to this mailing list. Given your familiarity

do you think you find the one or other opportunity to indicate what is missing?
What is the most urgent bit of the documentation to improve?
I normally fire up a pdf viewer and search for the current itch, so I
don't have a active "this is missing" list.
I'll keep that in mind, but the only thing I'd presently argue about is
a better explanation of the autotune PID. It may wok well with
conventional servo's in linear motions but it smoked a $125 motor
driving a BS-1 clone in angular mode in under a minute, so I built a
better one that didn't need or use a PID.
As you may have noted, I enjoy plowing new dirt with the closed loop
stepper/servo's. where the BS-1 was around 2 minutes a rev, at arcsecond
accuracy, the newly built one does degree or better at 500 revs. For me,
turning big multistart screws, in buttress threads, that is a heck of an
improvement. What was a 4 day job, is now a 2 hour job.
Thanks for the flowers, Steffan.
Cheers, Gene Heskett, CET.
