So here is where we are: To answer Peter's question, it is a fiber-optic telecomm product that contains no laser, thus I don't believe that EN 60 825-1 or EN 60 825-2 would apply. Think of this as a DWDM that combines lasers from another source onto one fiber then out. Purely passive. Absolutely no electronics at all.
