So here is where we are: To answer Peter's question, it is a fiber-optic telecomm product that contains no laser, thus I don't believe that EN 60 825-1 or EN 60 825-2 would apply. Think of this as a DWDM that combines lasers from another source onto one fiber then out. Purely passive. Absolutely no electronics at all. Since it's made in the US, I belive we would have to apply a CE mark to get through customs at any EU-member country. I don't believe we can declare conformity to the R&TTE Directive since that states basically we should conform to the LVD and EMCD and ensure that we don't hurt the network (like completing TBR 12/13 testing).
