Ok ,thank you very much.

Again, I was asking for an opinion concerning the expediency of doing some 
tests not explicitly required by the medical device standard, when you have 
to cope with a power supply not previously tested at all. 

It's not a matter of SMPS theory, but it seems that someone's skill in 
answering my original question is not as good as his arrogance.
