I am 100% with you on that. In fact I'm not into updates when I am
looking unless there is a new feature I require. I had the manager
flagged to notify only, but apparently that doesn't apply to third party
software. I will know later, all that is off now.

It was Kicked in on EMC 2.3.5. On a whim I checked to see if the  X (axis 0)
controlled the max speed for all axis. Apparently it does.

It's a servo Lathe. The X axis is the cutter feed into the material plus
the slow speed lets the servo track more accurately. Plus at .25" per
second on large diameters you are cutting threads rather than facing.
The 1.75 inch was a quick test to be sure I was above the max

Z axis is the long horizontal axis on the lathe (simular to the X on a
