Servo amps are cheap and good nowadays. I have no problem replacnig
servo drives. I did that on my Bridgeport too, because I fscked up the
original Bosch amps. They required 3 phase anyway, so I did not really
want them.

Thanks for your feedback. As for the machine currently on ebay, I
think that the seller is asking too much for someone's failed project
that is in disrepair. But I remain very tempted.
