Ah, thanks for the warning, Andy - it saves me trudging up the initial
slippery slope of the learning curve until futility wins out.
(I've just managed to gain planning approval for the
garage/workshop/accommodation out on the farm, after 5 months of
wrangling - not nearly so much with the local shire council as with the
fire authorities. Now I have to engage a building surveyor and pay him
to give me a hard time over the construction plans I've drawn up.
There'll be more paperwork and fees before my designs and calculations
are given building approval, so time to learn a new CAD package would be
limited.)
