That I am sure I can do, but thats quite different from how its been working for all these years. But, I may have just now found it, pid.s.command.in is fixed at .1% plus. Thats a key value as it is the creep speed the motor runs at while doing a gear shift, it lets the teeth mesh w/o having to manually grab the spindle and turn it until they slip into proper mesh. And its fixed because effectively neither gear shift switch is closed when nothing is input, so tomorrow I'll see about connecting that cable temporarily. That will need a common ground, high gear switch at 5i25-p2-13, and low gear switch at 5i25-p2-15. If it then works, you may be able to hear the whoopie from your place. Checking with halmeter at the mux4 inputs those switches control, the sign does change, so I think thats it! I bit me in the ass, with the expected taste, shitty. Thanks for the clue or the wording that made me go check that. So you two can relax, (Andy & Peter) and I apologize as it was my fault all along. I just couldn't see that particular tree for all the forest of a home built 760+line .hal file. -- Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
