I have a mux4 in front of pid.s.command-in, steered by two switches on the rim of the heads gear shift knob. They aren't wired up yet, waiting on a big bag of connectors, so it was effectively in neutral, with the motor turning about 20 rpm (if that was hooked up, but its not yet)so the gears will mesh smoothly when the knob is turned. When a switch closes, indicating its fully meshed, it then returns to normal control, and I have verified just in the last 20 minutes that the value does indeed go negative when the axis ccw button is clicked.
So I apologize to both of you, its was my bull headed problem all along. I just didn't trace it back all the way to the setp and mux4 with a halmeter. > > -- > > Cheers, Andy, Gene Heskett > > -- > > "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: > > soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
