Hey can you please explain that a bit more.

My understanding is the carousel outputs a position command out of carousel
counts target.

And that is the only connection between the step gen and carousel component.

Is there some other pin I should be using that I don't know about.

Possibly the issue is I haven't set anything to limit the carousel max step
rate.

Do the carousel motor velocity pins affect that at all?
