According to MDN the option "-no-remote" isn't listed and "-remove" is only
available on X-Windows Unix platforms.

I tried anyway; "Firefox.exe -no-remote" and had the same result, blank web
page. "Firefox.exe -remote" starts 2 FireFox process and then exits. Nothing
is displayed on the screen.

Does the "remote" option
http://www.mozilla.org/unix/remote.html (which may be somewhat out of date)
exist on windows ?
If firefox is also running on the local machine, could a remote connection be
attempted over Citrix ? I have seen such things on Linux (without Citrix).

Starting firefox with "-no-remote" may disable this complication ...
