I've got 450 MB worth of Entourage databases and haven't had to do any kind
of database rebuild or repair since Outlook 4, back many years ago. I know
many people who have much bigger databases than I do.
As others on the list have suggested, my guess is your problem is with the
disk/disk structure, not Entourage.
