Ok I had to go back to netscape to get mail till i get this solved.
Ok yesterday, my entourage, out of the blue, after a year of flawless use (I
DO LOVE Entourage) began crashing.
I mean I'd click get mail , or it would get it itself and BOOM gone. Can't
send can't receive, was getting a type three error, after awhile I would get
no error at all, like now.
Then other stuff began crashing., so today I begrudgingly did a sysmtem clean
install, something was getting whacked. Now everythign else is fine and
Entourage still crashes. It was even crashing Outlook express which I used
BEFORE Enoturage. So there has to be some sahred file, I trashed it too.
So now here I am trying to get it back up, I saived my old entourage files
(I need my mail folders and inbox back) i hope I got the right ones, I'm not
so worried about my contacts and calemndar as I have a visor and have it
backed up there. I have my bookmarks file saved off too.
So my question is, i've reinstall office like 8 times, every sinlge time
netourage crashes. IE seems ok. wordd seems ok
i uninstalled EVRYTHING MS, pulling out every file I can find, is there a
hidden UNINSTWALL Office command onthe disc I'm not seeing? I'd rather do
that, But I've been trashing EVERY MS file I had in all my various prefs,
documetns and sys folders.
What file to I need to save SPECIFICALLY to save my inbox and folders (like
I said everything else is on my virsor and I can synch it over, my mail
foders are my biggest concern once I get this fixd, if i can.)
I do NOT want to do a HD wipe and stsrt from scratch, so far it's JUST
entourage.
I'm using 9.1 on a G4
