I think you have disk corruption. You just need to do an Advanced Rebuild -
- hold down option key and select Advanced Rebuild. This is in the ReadMe
and Help, you know But there's now a very good article about it at the
Entourage page at MacTopia where you should always check:

You may need to trash the preference files it specifies in that article.
And before you do this rebuild, apply SR 1 update which you will also find
at MacTopia Office 2001 site first, if you haven't yet.
