Reinstalling usually isn't relevant. Rebuilding the database, increasing
memory, and occasionally trashing preference files usually do the trick.

Identities are for Outlook Express. Office 2001 Identities are for
Entourage. Similarly for Script menu Items/Entourage Script menu items,
Soundsets/Entourage Soundsets. If you're using Entourage and have given up
OE, you can trash Identities. If you keep OE around "in case of emergency",
might as well leave Identities too, although OE would create a fresh empty
Main Identity if it you trashed your current ones and launched OE.
