I have this feeling this discussion is chasing it's tail. :) I don't believe the quoted statement is true, because this is a switch not a hub. Things downlink of a switch aren't visible unless the switch is configured to permit it to be seen. All Airports are switches, and I don't think they can even be configured to be hubs. The newer ones have a LAN downlink. Having a switch uplink of an Airport will make computers downlink of the Airport (and that includes wireless ones) inaccessible from the rest of your network. Having a switch downlink of the Airport will make computers downlink of the switch inaccessible from the wireless computers. Best networking strategy is probably just to plug a hub into the Airport's downlink. I should warn I don't have a wireless network yet. I'm investigating to set one up.
