I confess to having missed the beginning of this thread, and so maybe my comments are totally missing the point. I use Earthlink DSL here in Albuquerque at home and it has been flawless service for me. At home I get email on my primary account (my university server) through Earthlink, and send through the Earthlink smtp server. At work I switch to the university smtp for outgoing mail (I'm using the Applescript solution written by Paul, I believe, for making that switch pretty darned seamless). Like Allen, one of the advantages that has kept me on Earthlink is that with my DSL account I get several (is it 20?) hours per month of dialup, for those times when I'm on the road. I also can log on internationally -- they maintain an impressive list of servers in foreign cities. When I'm in Rome, for example, I log on to my Earthlink account with a local phone number (I do pay a small surcharge for this), and still access all of my email accounts. It's *very* convenient. -- Sherman Wilcox -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
