I've tried those exact same settings and they do not work for me. <shrug> I
really don't care, to be honest. I get a spinning rainbow disk (OS X), and
eventually the connection times out. But it works when I use
smtp.earthlink.net (with no authentication), so I just use that. It sure is
puzzling. Not that it does not work for many of us like me, since that is
Earthlink's published policy, but that it DOES work for you!
