Nobody ever said not to do a Rebuild, Deborah. you must have misunderstood. What was said was that you should not do rebuilds as "preventative" maintenance, since they don't prevent anything and _excessive_ rebuilding is probably not great for your disk. Just do a rebuild when you need to.
