Or you could archive your email periodically to an archiver program like eMA
and then it's all stored in Filemaker. This reduces the size of the
Entourage database significantly and you can have multiple eMA databases if
you really want to keep things separated.

Of course, nothing at all substitutes for real, daily backups to reliable
removable media using something like, say, Retrospect. Wouldn't it have been
great to be able to recover to at least the last known good state?
