Allen and Paul, you just gave me an idea...

One of the bummers about backing up Entourage is the size of the database
file. It takes up a lot of room to have several copies of this file.

What if... We had a script that looked at the folders that were changed
since the last run of it, and marked them for export. Then we could export
those folders only. This should not be in lieu of backing up the entire
Identity, but could supplement it maybe. I'm thinking that's less overhead
than an entire backup? The downside is that the exported folder's messages
lose Category, Priority, Flags, and read/unread status, though. So it's just
a jumping off point sort of thought.

Better would be doing the same for new messages, but then we'd not know
where the newly exported (aka backed up) messages needed to be filed.
(Unless we ran rules on them...)
