I think I remember being told that they didn't support SMTP AUTH by ELN tech support (I could be wrong, but...). At work I am setting up a CommuniGate Pro server that we will be migrating to soon and it lets you have multiple listeners for the SMTP service, so I set it up to listen for SMTP transactions on port 2025 as well as 25 and I get around Earthlink's restrictions that way. > Something is also a bit confusing: Are you using Earthlink's smtp server to > send mail from your earthlink account or are using Earthlink's server to > send non-earthlink mail, or vice versa? I don't think Jan is using ELN's SMTP server to send mail as I really don't think they support SMTP AUTH (maybe she got lucky and hit a server that had that service enable for some reason?). -Remo Del Bello -- Last night I lay in bed looking up at the stars in the sky and I thought to myself, "Where the heck is the ceiling?!" -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
