You have a corrupt database. Do the Advanced Rebuild. The only data you lose is links, if you have any, between Entourage objects, and the downloaded copies of IMAP, Hotmail and news servers in the cache. You can just download (i.e. read) them again after the rebuild. If you believe that you have any crucial news messages that you really need and that just might have been removed from the server, drag-copy them to regular folders first. IMAP and Hotmail messages will still be on the server unless you yourself deleted them( (in which case they're not in your cache either). You need to do the rebuild. That's what it's for.
