To look for any item, such as "Disk Utility" use Jaguar's own "Find" in the File menu. It is superb, and has replaced (or restored from "useless" OS 8) Sherlock as the search mechanism on your own computer. Sherlock is now just for searching the internet.
I should have specified that you have to be in the Finder: it's the Finder's File menu that has "Find…", which makes good sense when you think about it. The Finder is back to finding again. ;-)
