Hi Diane. thanks for getting back to me. Personally, I find there's quite a chasm between humour and juvenile. But one man's joke is another's slash to the jugular. Can't please everyone. So I certainly don't try to cater to the thin-skinned or the wimpy. But I don't MEAN to offend either. And being the owner/moderator of three different online user groups, I'm well aware of proper decorum. And I never would have chastised for such an attempt (albeit weak) at humour. ;-) Sorry if it got your britches in a bunch!!! ;-D
I did delete/remake the account. Even went into the "keychain" and removed all those that appeared to be associated with Entourage and then reset them. Even tried to create one schedule just for that account. No love. If I add it to a schedule, Entourage can't connect to the server. If I initiate the account retrieval manually, it checks and gets mail perfectly. I don't get it. Haven't tried deleting the entire schedule yet. Nor would I want to if there's a less tiresome way. I have just under 20 email accounts, and all of them work fine except that one. And each have at least two filter actions; some more. That was the most time consuming part of getting the app set up in the first place. That would reek to have to go through all that again. But if nothing else works, it might be worth a try as a last resort. Thanks again for this, and any other possibilities. ht > From: Diane Ross <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Reply-To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Mon, 29 Dec 2003 14:28:53 -0800 > To: "Entourage:mac Talk" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: If Entourage causes OS-X to initialize the hard drive...... > > On 12/29/03 2:16 PM, "Hanagan" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> >> ........that would suck!!!! >> >> Bet that got your attention! > > That's not the way to ask for help.
