Hi Beth. Both OS-X and Office-X have had the latest updates installed. Somehow, I hadn't noticed the "Repair Permissions" bit. Interesting that this would be such a prevalent issue that there is actually a specific system function at the ready to recover from it. As I mentioned, after many years doing the "PC" thing to death, Mac is certainly a major part of my future from now on. But this feature wasn't part of my lexicon yet. I have run it now but to no avail. It seemed to do a bunch of stuff, but when I again added that account to the "Send/Receive" schedule, I get: "Could not retrieve mail from the account xxxxxxxx." "A connection error has occurred." "Error: -23012" But again, if I launch that account by itself manually it checks and retrieves mail perfectly. Back to square one. Gunna be a challenge, this one, huh? ht -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
