It's very cool to learn all of these cool new "inside" tricks that will
surely come in very handy as my Mac years advance.
But as to this issue, no "joy" at all.

I deleted the account.  Shut down Ent.  Restarted while holding the Opt key.
Selected "Typical Rebuild".  Ran "Repair Permissions".  Re-created the
errant account.  Testing workability of account by launching manually
(worked).  Then tested the account with the "Send and Receive All" schedule.
Ent. returned the same error message again.

And as you suggested, yes, everything else seems to be working just as one
would expect it too.

I do love a good challenge.  But I think I still prefer a successful conquer
of it even better.  :-)
