I'll check that out and see what it might have. thanks. > You say that all your accounts download successfully on a Send & Receive > except this one. The only thing that distinguishes this account from the others is that it used to be a different name/user name. I had my email provider change the account name (something I do from time to time). When I made the two changes to that account in Ent., that's when all of this began. All mail accounts are POP. Most on the same server as this one, some others located elsewhere. > Try disabling ALL schedules and ALL rules. Create a schedule to download > just this account. So I did now. THAT schedule works. It connected to the server and got a piece of test mail just fine. So that means there's some conflict in the primary schedule of some kind. yes? Either way, it's working now. As long as it works, I can work on satisfying my curiosity about what the conflict is when I have some rare free time. But for now, it seems I'm running 100%. Thank you SO much Beth. Greatly appreciated. And I will get to those articles just as soon as I finish re-reading The DaVinci Code. :-) I do want to learn more about how this app works. But the book is just too good a story and I'm just getting to the good part again. ;-) Have a great one. And thanks again. ht -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
