Email address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Account ID: account-id

POP server: pop3.email.msn.com (The account is specified as POP.)

SMTP server: smtp.email.msn.com (This is not SMTPAUTH, though "SMTP server
requires authorization" is checked. "Log on using" is also checked with the
same account-id and password for receiving mail.)

The SMTP server is SMTP, named, not SMTPAUTH. I did try turning off
"requires authorization" and got this message:

The server for "MSN-POP" returned the
error "command not implemented." Your username/
password or security settings may be incorrect. Would
you like to try re-entering your password?

There was no error code. Re-entering the password made no difference. When I
changed the 'requires authorization' settings to "Use same settings as
receiving mail", I got the same error as turning off "requires
authorization."

Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.
