Thanks for suggestions. I upgraded to 11.3.3 and ended up having to delete my MS exchange server account from Entourage. With just the IMAP account, things seem to work ok. I saw in a knowledge base file for 11.3.3 that: ³Microsoft has confirmed that there is a problem in Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac Service Pack 2 (11.2.0) that could cause data loss. This data loss might occur when Microsoft Entourage 2004 for Mac tries to synchronize with a Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox that was moved to a different storage group on the server that is running Exchange Server.² That may have been causing the problem part of the problem, though I¹m not sure exactly how it would impact my IMAP account. Thanks Larry and Dale for your suggestions. Perhaps there¹s an equally simple solution to my disappearing/reappearing message problem? Yesterday, I sent myself a test message. The message immediately appeared in my inbox on the server (checked via the web), yet took 1 hr 30 minutes to show up in my Entourage inbox. This despite my clicking ³send and receive² more than once. Often these days, messages show up in my Entourage inbox momentarily and then disappear for varying lengths of time. I¹m finding I can¹t trust Entourage anymore and have to double check through web access to make sure I¹ve seen every message. Sometimes individual messages disappear, sometimes none of the new messages appear at all. Entourage tells me there are no new messages when there actually are. OS X 10.4.8, G5, Entourage v. 11.2.5 Thanks for your help, Shannon From: Dale Dummitt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 21 Jan 2007 09:55:11 -0500 Subject: Re: Messages won't delete On 1/21/07 8:34 AM, Shannon Young, [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: > Sometimes individual messages disappear, sometimes none of the new messages > appear at all. There have been a couple of updates between 11.2.5 and 11.3.3 but the 11.3.3 update includes those and will bring you up to the current. You can do this from the Help menu>check for updates or from Microsoft's mac downloads site. Either way, READ the instructions before updating. <http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.aspx?pid=download&location=/mac/down load/Office2004/Office2004_1133.xml&secid=4&ssid=32&flgnosysreq=True> -- Dale [EMAIL PROTECTED]
