Hi, Thanks for the answer. Do you have any antivirus software running on the laptop? If so, you may want to add the location of the Entourage database to a "safe zone" list if your software supports it. I would also suggest verifying the hard drive with a utility such as DiskWarrior. Also, review your list of active processes that can move data automatically on the laptop.
Yes, we do have norton antivirus , but it is also setup in all other machines and doesnt seem to cause any issue. Still this is something to try. Yes! This is the location where it "moves" to ~/Library/Caches/Metadata..., sometimes they are in the trash.
