Larry - you are not alone. I have SP1 and Ent v12.0.1 on Leopard 10.5.3.

My contacts have also gone bonkers. I exported them to a text file so I
could delete all of them from Entourage, rebuild and then re-import. I went
from 2500 contact to 9. The problem is, I can "see" that there are 9
because the status bar at the bottom of the window says they are there but
nothing shows up in the window. If I click around where they should be I
occasionally can get my primary contact to display. I can't CMD-A to select
all and delete. I've rebuilt at this point and the contacts are still there
but not visible.

Unable to fix the problem I thought I would plow on. I took the contacts
into Apple's Address book to use their find duplicates function and then
exported them as a large VCF file. Entourage was quite happy to import
them. However, the search box doesn't work about 80% of the time - it just
sits there. Also, if I scroll the entire contact list there is a section
that is simply blank (no text on the screen). Not a good sign.

I'll try dragging my MU folder to the desktop, letting Entourage '08
(v12.0.1 build 80305) recreate the MU folders, dragging my ID back in as
Diane (my Entourage hero) suggested.
