Perhaps a shorter more specific question might give me a hint of what to do next ...
My email database is fine but my contact database is corrupted. Verifies, Compacts, and Rebuilds do not fix the problem. I exported to text what I could and my contacts went from 2500 to 9. The problem is, I can "see" that there are 9 because the status bar at the bottom of the window says they are there but nothing shows up in the window. If I click around where they should be I occasionally can get my primary contact to display. I can't CMD-A to select all and delete. I tried to synch with Apple's Address Book but the scripts can't read the corrupted Entourage contact database. Is there something specific to do to purge and/or rebuild the contact database? I can't think of anything to do but to start with a new identity and recreate all of my mail, rules, contacts, etc. manually.
