  Manfrotto are an Italian tripod/monopod manufacturer. They sell 
their products under their own name worldwide except in the US, where 
a distributor named Bogen sell their wares. (in the US, Manfrotto 
products appear to bear both company names on them, judging by the 
monopod head I bought there)

  Manfrotto product numbers differ from Bogen's, and since Americans 
are a big presence on the net, it can get kind of confusing sometimes.
