Hi Ken and List,
Just goes to show you that I'm probably stubborn, or stupid, or
both :-) Especially when one of the local stores has/had an Elan 7EQD
in stock on the shelf.
My old Rebel class body had a habit of "follow-focussing". It would focus
where a subject had BEEN, not where it was GOING. While I could (and did)
pre-focus manually, shots of erratically moving subjects (e.g. children)
at 1fps were /always/ out of focus :-(
So, is this new-fangled "Predictive AF" only a gimmick?
Which EOS body was first to have Predictive AF?
Does the EOS 10/10s (1990) have Predictive AF?
Can you turn it on and off, like a custom function?
When do users select Predictive AF over one-shot AF?
