Hi Jim,
I tried this on nearly every kind of autofocus motor that I had:
Arc-form drive (EF 24mm f/2.8)
Micromotor (EF 50mm f/1.8)
Belt drive (EF 35-80 f/3.5-5.6 III)
Ring USM (EF 200mm f/2.8 L)
Unfortunately, motion tracking was quite poor with the old Rebel class
body. Solution: resort to manual pre-focussing :-)
