Ok. I guess I'm just tired of shooting film as a PJ, a fact that keeps me
scanning until all hours of the night and on weekends while competitors
play.
Let's face it, Nikon hasn't dropped the price of the D1 because it has no
competition. Hence, in my view, Canon needs a $3,500 camera that matches
the D1 or a $5-6K body that clearly bests the D1 (like 6 MP with a full size
CMOS). Otherwise Nikon will only drop the price of the D1 and Canon still
won't make a dent in Nikon's considerable lead in the PJ industry.
