I believe the latest firmware includes onboard sharpening, which
substantially mitigates the softening of the image from ICE. With or
without ICE, I almost always apply unsharp mask to images before they are
printed. _ I have got phenominal results from the LS-2000 with crisp
beautiful images printed upto 13x19 inches (the max size my printer will
output..)
