Those are the 2 scanners I am trying to decide between.
4000 DPI would be great for making very large prints but
I have heard that dynamic range is the more important spec.
The Polaroid's DR is 3.4 and the Nikon is 3.6 which makes
the Nikon the one to get.  Any comments?  It's hard to
imagine that a dynamic range difference of .2 is more
noticable than a DPI difference of 1300 (almost 50%
more resolution).

I have an EOS Elan IIe and my wife has a new Elan 7e.
We take mostly slides but once we get a film scanner I
think we will start taking more prints so that we can
take advantage of the wider latitude of negatives.
