My suggestion.  First get a high speed fine grain film.  My choice for this
would be Kodak Portra 400VC.
Have the flashes on stands or set up about 7 feet behind you and your camera
and not at 45 degree angles but just off from you left and right at a slight
angle.  NO BOUNCE!!  You need power and want to flood the group with light.
Manually set the flashes (if you have to) to 28mm coverage each to ensure
you will light the edges.
The Canon 28-135mm IS lens may do you well here at wider angles.  You could
also use the Tokina but I think the IS would allow you a slower shutter
speed to pick up any ambient light in the room. Try 1/30 seconds at F5.6
with 1:1 ratio.
